Summer is almost here! Although it sure feels like it already is here in Florida! This is the 2nd blog in my summer glow series. The next tip I wanted to share with you all is how to achieve flawless, dewy skin. Summer is the time to tone down on the colors and let your natural beauty shine. Creating a flawless canvas starts with cleansing.
You should always use some type of face wash. One of my favorite cleansers is Olay Fresh Effects. I use Epiduo so I rarely get bad breakouts, but when I do this helps get rid of them. I love it because it makes my skin look so fresh and new. It has little micro beads that give you a deep clean and the orange smell is heavenly. I usually alternate this face wash with one that has a smoother consistency. You don’t need to exfoliate your face everyday, especially if you have acne prone skin.
Moisturizer is always a must. I love, love, love this moisturizer! I apply it immediately after washing my face when the pores and skin are still open. I apply it to my face and neck, paying special attention to my under eye area. It’s like magic in a jar!
After the skin is cleansed and moisturized, you’re ready to achieve your glow. Apply a thin layer of moisturizer with SPF to protect your skin from the harsh rays. I like to wear bronze-y colors during summer months, and just add some mascara. For my skin I use a light weight foundation, concealer, bronzer, and a finishing powder.
Foundation: L’oreal Infalliable Pro- Matte | This foundation is so lightweight and gives a matte, but dewy finish. Perfect for the summer heat.
Concealer: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Brightener | Covers under eye bags while brightening your face. Use it under eyes, bridge of nose and forehead to achieve the perfect glow.
Bronzer: Tarte Amazonian Clay | My favorite bronzer! It gives you a nice definition with the right amount of shimmer.
Finishing Powder: Maybelline FIT Me Translucent Powder | The perfect setting powder.
Now you all will have beautiful lips and skin! Be on the look out for my next tip!
