My summer glow series is back! I started it 2 summers ago & loved sharing my tips & loved the feedback I received! Summer is the perfect time to start getting your skin and body healthy. Most of us will be outdoors a lot and one way to stay hydrated while helping your skin and body is fruit infused water!
It’s no secret that Summer is near & we all need something to cool off on a hot summer day! No matter where I go, I always have water on hand. I love plain H2O, but sometimes I like to spruce it up by adding a lemon and mint to my water. These fruit infused water combos are perfect for a pitcher for beach days, too! Ive tried out a couple different combinations that taste so delicious and refreshing. They are also so great for your body and skin!
Citrus water has been my drink of choice the past few weeks. If I’m adding fruit to my water on-the-go, I insert the fruit into the diffuser that came with my bottle. If you’re lounging at home you could simply add it into any glass of water. To make citrus water you will need:
-1 bottle/glass of water
-1 slice of lemon
-1 slice of orange
I like to get it ready the night before to let the citrus and water combine, but you could add it right before drinking it. Not only is this combination delicious, but it is good for you inside and out! You will get a good source of vitamin C and it will help detoxify your body. It is a little acidic, so I recommend switching up between water flavors throughout the week.
Another flavor I love is strawberry & Mint infused water. It’s the best! It has a sweet taste of strawberry with a hint of mint which makes it very refreshing. Strawberries are beneficial because they have antioxidants and are known to help clear skin. Blueberries are good antioxidants for the skin, too! I love the added mint because it helps soothe the stomach and it helps with digestion. To make this infused water you will need:
-1 bottle/cup of water
-2 strawberries sliced in half
-2 mint leaves
I usually fill up my water bottle three times during the day before changing out the fruit. I will then change out the fruit after that because it loses its flavor and vitamins. Adding real fruits to our drinks is a lot healthier than the artificial flavored liquid enhancers. If you’re someone who doesn’t like to drink water, try these combinations! You’ll be obsessed!
Let me know what other combinations you have tried. I hope you all decide to add fruit infused waters into your lives!

I love infused waters! Classic lemon is always easy and clean, but I do love berries in the summer. One of the neatest kitchen items I’ve used are the pitchers with the columns in the middle, which can be filled with fruit for infusing the whole pitcher!
