Being the busy on-the-go woman that I am, drinking my daily coffee is great to keep me going, but not so great for my teeth. It can leave my teeth a little stained and not their brightest. I have always used whitening tooth pastes and mouth washes, but it wasn’t getting my teeth to their whitest shade. When Smile Brilliant approached me to do a review, I knew immediately that it was worth trying and I’m so glad I did!
The Smile Brilliant at home whitening system is an amazing product and so easy to use! Plus they’re Vegan and cruelty free! You start by making the impressions at home. They literally take less than 5 minutes to do the top and bottom! Place them in the provided envelope, put them in the mail and receive your custom fitted trays within a week.
Once you receive them you’re ready to whiten! Just fill the tray with a thin line of whitening gel and pop them in for 45 minutes to 2 hours! Piece of cake! I started out with 45 minutes and gradually increased my time. If you experience any sensitivity don’t worry! It comes with a desensitizing gel to help with any sensitivity you may have.
The desensitizing gel goes right into the trays the same way you put in the whitening gel, but only leave it on for 25 minutes. You shouldn’t eat or drink for 30 minutes after your whitening treatment, which is why found it best to whiten right before bed.
On the weekends, when I have more time, I will whiten in the morning while I do stuff around the house. I love the easiness of this product and that I can still continue my routine while whitening my smile.
