You all know I’m obsessed with my skincare! If you’ve been following me for a while now, you know that I’ve struggled with acne and have tried so many products out there. I finally found what worked for me and cleared up my acne. If you’re struggling with acne, you can find that post Here.
Now that my skin is acne free, minus the occasional pop ups, my skin care routine has changed. I’m all about keeping my skin looking hydrated and youthful while maintaining my complexion.
Cleanser
Soap & Glory Vitamin C wash|Tula Purifying Cleanser
If you have not added vitamin C into your skin care routine, you NEED to! It is a total game changer! This cleanser is so refreshing and the micro beads really exfoliate and cleanse my skin. The vitamin C will help brighten your skin in the process. The smell is refereshing and clean. I’ve recently added the Tula line to my routine and love their products! This Tula cleanser to my routine, alternating the two. This cleanser has probiotics and natural ingredients to help your skin look flawless and youthful. I recommend getting both, if not one of them. If you’re on a budget, the Soap and Glory is budget friendly and SO good. If you want to splurge a little then go with the Tula.
Moisturizer
Naturewell| Tula Day& Night cream| Clinique moisture surge| Exuviance hydragel
Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Many people think moisturizing is a woman thing, but it’s really a people thing. No matter who you are, your skin will get dry and lose collagen. Mike basically follows the same skincare routine that I do. He loves getting new products just as much me! This vitamin C moisturizer is so good and has a light citrus scent. I apply it morning and night. Like i said previously, vitamin C brightens your skin and gets rid of any hyper pigmentation your skin may have. It is a must! I also apply this Tula moisturizer on top. It has a nice clean scent, but it’s not too strong. Recently, I have added this Clinique moisturizer and it is so good! It leaves my skin so silky and fresh. I use the Clinique at night blended in with the other two products. I use This Exuviance gel 1-2x a week to maintain my oil and any pesky acne that might want to appear.
Eye Creams
Estee Lauder Resilience Lift|Tula eye renewal|Estee Lauder Perfectionist
I apply one of these eye creams every night. I like to change them up and rotate them. This and this Estée Lauder creams are hydrating and reduce any puffiness. I have been in love with this Tula eye serum lately. It reduces puffiness and i have noticed a decrease in the definition of the lines under my eyes. They’re all a little on the pricier side, but they are worth the money!
Face masks
Jan Marini Skin Zyme| Tula Treatment Mask
I love using a mask 1-2x a week. This Tula probiotic mask has little micro beads and my skin looks so fresh every time! It is a quick mask and perfect for nights when you don’t have much time, but want to freshen up your skin. This Jan Marini mask has been one of my favorites lately. The consistency is like a moisturizer and it doesn’t dry to the skin. It gets a little sticky, but once i wash it off, it looks like i just got a facial. It has a strong smell, but it’s not terribly unbearable.
