“Be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons.” This speaks volumes especially in the blogging world! Standing out and creating new, fresh content can be challenging. I always try to stay true to myself and share things that I love in hopes that you all will love then, too!

Now, let’s get into the post!
In today’s post, I wanted to talk about self care and some of the things I do to relax and unwind. It is important to make sure you’re living your best life and doing things that fill your heart and mind.
1. Listen to podcasts
I love, love, love TED Talks. There are so many inspirational people and a ton of different topics. Whenever I want to feel inspired or down about something, I can always find something to listen to. I also really love The Influencer Podcast with Julie Solomon. Her podcasts are so inspiring especially for bloggers.
2. Spa day| Facials, mani, + pedi
I love to get facials a couple times a year. It’s relaxing and SO good for your skin to feel detoxed and refreshed. Getting a mani and pedi is a given. You can relax while getting pampered and relieve the stress from the week. I usually get dip powder manis every 3 weeks! If you look good, you feel good!
3. Setting goals + Journaling
Staying organized helps me stay less stressed especially at work. Every single morning I make a list of goals that I want to accomplish for the day and week. I am very type A and love staying organized. If I don’t have my list, my day and week just feel off. I also love to journal my thoughts. I use the notes app on my iPhone to jot down thoughts and ideas for blog posts or things I want to do.
4. Working out
I love to spend at least 30 minutes to an hour 4-5 times a week to work out. It helps me relieve stress and makes me feel amazing afterwards. It is important to get your body moving even if it’s a short walk or yoga workout. Your body will thank you!
Your self care is so important. Only you can take care of you!
