If you’ve been following me for a while, you know my skin issues- hormonal acne + oily skin. I usually get hormonal acne in between my mouth and chin and they come in clusters. So.dang.annoying.
I’ve recently found a way to keep my skin looking fresh and healthy. I’ll share my morning and night routine that has been working wonders. This is just what works for me and may not work for you.
MORNING
•Cleanse– I like to wash my skin w Soap & Glory vitamin C wash
• Tone– I like to apply rubbing alcohol to a cotton pad and rub all over (I know this can be harsh for the skin, but it has helped my skin tremendously)
• Moisturize– I alternate between Glow Watermelon Serum & Yeouth Hylauronic acid
I usually spray Mario Badescu rose water spray all over my face before and after I apply my makeup.
NIGHT ROUTINE
• Remove makeup – I’ve been using The Makeup Eraser! And Omgsh, y’all NEED it in your life! So good!
•Cleanse – I use the same Soap & Glory face wash.
•Tone – I apply rubbing alcohol to a cotton pad and apply to acne.
•Moisture– I alternate between Glow Watermelon Serum & Yeouth Hyaluronic acid. I add this retinol serum underneath whichever moisturizer I use. It helps w discoloration of acne scars and fine lines/wrinkles.
• Lips- I can never forget my lips! If i skip this step, my lips feel so dry in the morning. I love this Vaseline, but lately I’ve been using Aquaphor and it is SO hydrating!
2x a week (Sunday + Wednesday) I use a 30% glycolic peel. It has really improved my skins texture and overall look of my skin.
I also do a mask 2x a week. I alternate between this Aztec clay mask w Apple cider vinegar mixed in or this Tula mask!
I need to start incorporating SPF to my skin (my foundation has it already), so any good recommendations let ya girl know!
