Since we’ve been in quarantine and WFH, I have been makeup free less and letting my skin breathe. I am a huge makeup girl and love playing w makeup so I will do my makeup 1-2 times a week when I need to take photos for posts. Those days I have to double cleanse to make sure my pores are free of any makeup before applying my skincare.
Okay, lets just jump right in!
If you don’t own a face cleansing device, you NEED one in your routine. THIS one from Michael Todd is my favorite. It give me that deep, facial cleanse and my skin feels extra fresh. I run the brush head under water and then I add a dime size of face cleanser to the brush, I love THIS one bc it has salicylic acid- good for acne prone skin.
I like to work in circular motions on sections of my face at a medium speed. I like to do my face in quadrants and when the brush beeps, move on to the next quadrant. Easy and that way you make sure you’re cleansing everything equally. I’m not sure if that really matters, but that’s what I like to think! Ha
Next, I apply my toner w a cotton pad. I have been loving THIS one. I have noticed a difference in the texture and tone of my skin since adding this. Everything seems less red and more even.
Next, is serum. I have been loving THIS hyaluronic acid serum so much. The best part- Its only $6!! Ive been using it for the past 2 months and have been noticing a HUGE improvement in how plump my skin looks. I cant wait to try other products from The Ordinary Line.
After applying serum, I love to apply THIS vitamin C moisturizer Or THIS Vitamin A mask. Some nights I like to use my rose quartz roller to really get the serums and moisturizers into my skin. Similar one linked HERE.
I like to finish off with aquaphor on my lips and THIS holy grail lash serum.
